The new Rasor® RS1S battery-powered shear is a professional reciprocating blade cutting tool.

The RS1S is ergonomic, powerful, and offers excellent cutting performance, weighing only 370 grams (battery included). The steel blades feature a Tungsten (Widia®) insert and micro-serrated sharpening, specially developed for cutting Composite materials, ensuring perfect, fray-free cuts.

The RS1S is particularly suitable for quick and precise cutting of technical textiles and Composite materials, allowing for very small radii. The 3.7V and 5Ah Li-Ion® battery technology ensures power and long life. The 19,000 rpm motor allows the blades to reciprocate at a speed of 80 cuts per second.

The electronic power button with Safe-Lock function and single or automatic cutting mode make the RS1S a unique product on the market. A laser LED pointer allows cutting along a fixed reference such as a line or seam. The RS1S also finds application in the field of combined and hybrid materials.
