The new Rasor® RS1 battery-powered scissors are a professional reciprocating blade cutting tool.

The RS1 is ergonomic, powerful, and offers excellent cutting performance in just 370 grams (battery included). The steel blades have a Tungsten (Widia®) insert that ensures perfect cuts without fraying. The RS1 is particularly suitable for cutting textile materials quickly and precisely, with the ability to make cuts with very small radii. The 3.6V and 5Ah Li-Ion® battery technology ensures power and long life. The 19,000 rpm motor allows the blades to alternate at a speed of 80 cuts per second.

The electronic power button with Safe-Lock function and single or automatic cutting mode make the RS1 a unique product on the market. A LED laser pointer allows for cutting along a fixed reference such as a line or a seam. The RS1 is applicable not only to textiles but also technical textiles, plastic films, polymers, imitation leather, leather, paper, and Aramid.
