No material is a problem for the HD718. HD stands for Heavy Duty, which indicates this machine's particular attention to feeding, a true boast and strong point.

Don't be afraid of any type of heavy or light fabric: 18 stitches and automatic buttonhole make for a consistent sewing experience, allowing you to explore creative sewing.

Janome's 700 series consists of basic and simple mechanical machines equipped with an extremely convenient and easy-to-thread horizontal hook.

The various elastic stitches can thus be modified quickly and easily.

To make the machine a free arm, simply remove the extension table and the free arm is ready for use. Practical for sleeves, trousers and similar.

The presser foot pressure is adjustable for all fabrics. Thick or thin, rigid or soft, in this way the seam will be even and perfect in any situation.

The convenient thread cutter allows thread cutting at both the beginning and the end of the seam. The new seam can thus start without unravelling, or creating a tangle of thread.
