Rasor SW12M | Benchtop Shears

The SW12M bench cutter is a completely innovative product.

Launched a few months ago, it utilizes the new motor support geometry of the Monster series. Unlike all other bench cutters, the SW12M has a motor support held by a central foot, positioned behind the blade in a central position. This system distributes the cutting force and the force required for the machine to pass through the material on both sides of the cutter. The result is a perfectly straight and much easier cutting feed.

The blade is now free for half of its diameter on both sides, a feature that avoids winding problems (winding of threads behind the blade) with tougher fibers. This is why the SW12M is particularly suitable for cutting composite materials (fiberglass, kevlar). The impressive 350 W motor, combined with a bronze/steel gear pair with a single-stage reduction, develops a very high cutting torque.

The SW12M is capable of cutting any "flexible" material up to a maximum thickness of 50 mm. This is why it is widely used in the technical textile and composite materials sectors. The high torque and low blade speed allow it to cut rubbery and plastic-based materials in the field of carpets and industrial flooring.

The push-button sharpener allows you to revive the cutting profile of the blade in less than ten seconds, without disassembling it. SW12M, simply beyond all limits.
