The GRT12SX is a three-phase cutting unit for thick materials suitable for textile and technical textile applications.

Technologically and safety-wise updated, the GRT12SX offers power and high cutting capacity in just 4 kg of weight. The blade and counter-blade cutting system ensures clean and precise cuts, without waste or fraying. The three-phase asynchronous motor is balanced and very quiet.

It requires no maintenance, allowing the GRT12SX to be used in production processes 24/7 and, coupled with high-resistance bronze and steel gears, offers long-term reliability. The 120 mm 8-sided blade allows cutting materials up to 50 mm thick, even in multiple layers. Particularly suitable for cross-cutting, the GRT12SX is equipped with a simple anchoring flange to be fixed on static or automated brackets.

The cutting base, coated with non-stick Teflon®, allows the machine (or material) to advance with minimal effort, reducing friction and allowing the unit to be installed on sliding rails in confined spaces. The semi-automatic push-button sharpening system allows the blade to be sharpened in less than 10 seconds, without disassembling it. For continuous trimming processes, the GRT12SX is also available in a right-handed (mirror) version, mod. GRT12.
