Rasor GRT12DT | Cutting Unit

The GRT12DT is a three-phase cutting unit for thick materials, suitable for technical textiles and composite materials.

Thanks to the double carbide counter-blade, the GRT12DT can cut in both directions (using an inverter). This feature allows for saving one stroke, and therefore time, in cross-cut processes. The three-phase asynchronous motor is balanced and very quiet. It requires no maintenance, allowing the GRT12DT to be used in 24/7 production processes, and coupled with high-strength bronze and steel gears, it offers long-term reliability.

The 120 mm 8-sided blade allows cutting materials up to 50 mm thick, even in multiple layers. The high torque and low blade speed allow it to cut rubber and plastic-based materials in the carpet and industrial flooring fields. The push-button sharpener allows the blade's cutting edge to be re-sharpened in less than ten seconds, without disassembly.

The cutting base is coated with non-stick Teflon®, allowing the machine to advance effortlessly, reducing friction between the base and the material, and enabling the unit to be installed on sliding rails in confined spaces. Particularly suitable for transverse cutting, the GRT12DT is equipped with a simple anchoring flange for attachment to fixed or automated brackets.

The high power and bidirectional cutting capability make the GRT12DT the ideal cutting solution for the most demanding O.E.M. applications.
