Rasor FP862 | Pneumatic Shears

The new FP862 is the most powerful pneumatic shear produced by Rasor.

The compressed air motor is entirely manufactured in our factory. Thanks to latest generation mechanical and pneumatic components, this extraordinary turbine reaches a power of 400 W at 20,000 rpm and a very high torque. The motor diameter is now only 40 mm, the smallest in its category. The rotor blades are made of patented VANESTAR® material which minimizes weight and friction.

The FP862, with an 86 mm 8-sided blade, is able to cut any "flexible" material up to a maximum thickness of 25 mm. The new gear pair now allows to reach 1400 rpm. This is why it is widely used in the textile, technical textile and composite materials sectors. Thanks to its high power, it is able to cut fiberglass and carbon fiber in different layers. The high torque also allows to cut rubber and plastic-based materials in the field of carpets and flooring.

This new model features a motor support coating made of PTFE compounds that reduce heat and provide an aggressive "look". The lightweight and compact aluminum cutting foot allows for cutting straight and curved profiles with great precision and ease. The push-button sharpener allows to revive the cutting edge of the blade in less than ten seconds, without disassembling it.
