Traditional boilers with heating elements immersed in water operate with 85% thermal efficiency and suffer from progressive limescale buildup, which reduces their performance and lifespan. The Jack U5 uses an electromagnetic heat exchanger that transfers heat without direct contact with water: 98.5% efficiency, zero limescale on the heating element, always dry and abundant steam right from startup.
