Unlike all other cutting units, the GRT12SM has a motor support held by a central foot, positioned behind the blade in a central position. This system distributes the cutting force and the force required for the machine to pass through the material, on both sides of the cutter. The result is a perfectly straight cut with less effort. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe blade is free for half of its diameter on both sides, a feature that avoids winding problems (winding of threads behind the blade) with tougher fibers. This is why the GRT12SM is particularly suitable for cutting composite materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, and Kevlar. The three-phase asynchronous motor is balanced and very quiet. It does not require maintenance, allowing the GRT12SM to be used in 24\/7 production processes, and coupled with high-strength bronze and steel gears, it offers long-term reliability. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe 120 mm 8-sided blade allows cutting of materials up to 50 mm thick, even in multiple layers. The high torque and low blade speed allow it to cut rubbery and plastic-based materials in the field of carpets and industrial flooring. The push-button sharpener allows the blade's cutting edge to be revived in less than ten seconds, without disassembling it. The cutting base is coated with non-stick Teflon®, allowing the machine to advance effortlessly, reducing friction between the base itself and the material, and allowing the unit to be installed on sliding rails in confined spaces. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eParticularly suitable for cross-cutting, the GRT12SM is equipped with a simple anchoring flange for attachment to fixed or automated brackets.
